Logistics & Incoterms
Shipped on your terms.
We move metal along established rail-to-port corridors — Lubumbashi to Dar es Salaam, and the Copperbelt to Durban and Walvis Bay — and structure every shipment to flexible Incoterms. Choose the point at which custody, cost and risk pass to you.
We deliver the cargo, cleared for export and loaded on board the vessel at the named port of shipment. Carriage and risk pass to you once it crosses the rail.
We cover ocean carriage and marine insurance to the destination port, so the cargo arrives insured and freight-paid at the port you nominate.
We manage the full inland leg and deliver the cargo, ready for unloading, at your named destination — you handle only import clearance and duties.

We handle both spot lots for concentrates and longer-term offtake agreements, and can discuss trial parcels for first-time buyers.
Our standard term is an irrevocable Letter of Credit from a first-class bank, confirmed where required. For established counterparties we also work with prepayment against documents and cash against documents (CAD) on a case-by-case basis.
Base metal pricing references recognised exchange settlement prices and precious metals reference the established market fix, less treatment and refining charges. The applicable price is fixed over an agreed quotation period — commonly the month of arrival or a buyer-nominated pricing window.
Lead times depend on routing and destination, covering inland transit from source to port and onward ocean freight. We confirm a shipment schedule at contract signing.
Cargo is sampled and weighed jointly at load port by an independent inspector. If assay results differ beyond contractual tolerance, the matter goes to a pre-agreed umpire laboratory whose result is final and binding on both parties.
We trade primarily on FOB, CIF and DAP, and can accommodate CFR or EXW where it suits your logistics. We will recommend the term that best matches your routing and risk appetite.
